The work of Andy Goldsworthy has been praised over the years for it’s celebration of the random beauty of nature and it’s critique on our idea of when and where art takes place. His use of shape, color, and his transformation of space is truly “AWE-inspiring!” Though Goldsworthy’s work is seen by very few in person, the photographic documentation of his “Land Art” has inspired the masses. I can only imagine the feeling of stumbling across one of these beautiful displays during an afternoon hike.
